I have tomorrow off! 

Whenever I have a day off during the week, I always feel like a little kid the night before b/c I find myself staying up late saying, "I'm doing to do [this] and [this] and [this] and [this]!" Sometimes I make it; sometimes I crash. :)

I do need to formulate a plan for tomorrow so I actually get stuff done rather than sit around asking myself, "What is it I should be doing today?"

1. Make ice cream
2. Go to store to buy super glue...
3. ...then glue stickers on helmet in time for game this weekend
4. Go to bank to deposit league's money
5. Possibly make pasta dish for league pre-game pasta dinner tomorrow night
6. Pick up room

I doubt I'll have the time, but I'd like to get my dvd from Netflix watched and sent back. I got the first disc of Season 1 of Supernatural. I've never seen even a snippet of the show, so I'm hoping it's good. It's at the perfect time too since I just finished watching the season finale of Glee and need some more TV to watch. 

 I seriously need to update my icons! I haven't gone icon hunting in such a long time and even longer since I've made some. Hmm...this is bad when I'm just developing my second wind after a hard practice tonight and have to be up for work in the morning. :/

 Haven't been here in a while. I couldn't even remember my own username! 

Anyway, I've been needing an outlet and thought I'd come back and try an old friend. :)

Hi everyone! I can sum up the past few months in a few words, sadly: work and finding a new place to live.

My apartment is jacking up their rent and once the "new and improved" fire alarms went off for no reason at 3 am, I decided I didn't want to keep living in a place that feels like a dorm.

And that's all I got. I have such a boring life now. :)

If anybody out there likes to sew, knit, and/or crochet who has some extra time on their hands, you can donate items to The Preemie Project (http://www.thepreemieproject.com/home). The patterns are really easy and you can get that warm fuzzy feeling of donating.

Do not, under any circumstances, use regular dish detergent as a replacement for dishwasher detergent. You will leave your loved one to clean up a big sudsy mess in your kitchen. Probably when they're at work. And the cats will freak out because there's now a big jacuzzi in the way of their food bowl. *sigh*

Is anyone doing a Secret Santa this year? I want to do it again b/c it's so much fun! So please let me know if you or anyone you know is doing one that I can join in. Thanks!

My cat has woken me at 4 am every morning since we've been here. I love him, but I want to hurt him. I got him some Happy Cat water stuff that'll hopefully mellow him out and make him want to sleep tonight. We'll see.

I can't believe it's August. Summer went quickly.

We came in second place in the tournament last night. After beating the team once that night, it became a really close 2nd game (we had to beat them twice in order to win in double elimination) but they won in overtime. Eh well.

I also jammed my right ring finger during a crazy play where the runner ran into me on base as I was trying to catch a quick throw to the base. The other teams fans pissed everyone off but royally pissed a guy friend of mine when they started making fun of me, very loudly, since I got hurt and they stopped the game, The umpire was really cool and made sure I could hold and throw a ball before we started back up. So now, I'm having to type with 3 fingers on my right hand b/c I've taped my ring finger to my middle finger. I feel kinda like the Penguin. Or a Ninja Turtle. :)

Only 4 more days till I get the keys to my new place and begin moving in. :) Still need that job though.....
